Priya and Ajay’s Wedding Reception {Part 1}

And with this last set of images the AMAZING wedding of Priya & Ajay concludes! Needless to say this was one of the most beautiful and fun weddings I have ever done and I am going to miss working with them. I am very fond of Indian Culture and Eastern Philosophies in general, so I can say I was pretty much in my element working with this amazing group of people. I am very grateful for having had the opportunity to document this memorable week for them and I hope I get to work again with them in the future.

The Wedding Reception was held at the beautiful Westin Hotel in Westminster, CO. The colors of the room resembled the colors of peacocks which they were the theme of the wedding cake too.  Stuart Alexander is the wonderful artist and decorator responsible for the room’s design.

Also, many thanks to the talented John Bosley for photographing the reception with me 🙂

Let’s start the show…

The gorgeous stage with the bride and groom’s table. The chairs were made in India and hand-carved.

I absolutely love the light fixtures of this room!

Notice the crystals hanging from the branches and the transparent chairs, SUNNING ! 🙂

Some details of the lighting, centerpieces and lanterns hanging from the beautiful arch at the bride and groom’s stage.

Right before everyone entered the room we took some pictures with Priya and Ajay. Take a look at Priya’s stunning Sari!

Some details of Priya’s outfit, especially her henna design which was one of the most amazing I’ve ever seen, with the princess and the prince 🙂

The gorgeous bride and groom.
